Unfortunately, there were several recurring issues that significantly impacted the quality of my stay. Throughout my stay, the resort frequently ran out of basic bar supplies. Beer was unavailable for three days, and on one day there was no Kahlúa or mint available for mojitos. In addition, the bar ran out of clean glasses, and guests were asked to walk around the pool collecting used glasses so they could be washed and reused. The food quality was also disappointing. Every day there were eggshells in my scrambled eggs, and I have photos documenting this. None of the buffet food was served hot; everything was lukewarm to cold, even when arriving right when the buffet opened. While the food at the pool area was better, the service was extremely slow, and I often saw plates of food sitting for long periods before being delivered to guests. There were also maintenance and comfort issues. On a couple of days the pool water level was low, and visible buildup and debris were noticeable along one side. At one point the ping pong table was painted while guests were sitting nearby, and the fumes were overwhelming. One morning there was no coffee available at all.
The special dinner lasagna was particularly poor; the sauce tasted like plain tomato soup and was not appetizing. Additionally, many of the mixed drinks had a very unpleasant rubber-like taste, making them undrinkable. Staff was great and the grounds are nice. Pool best! Will stay there again but not all inclusive!
