«Staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is around 20 minutes from La Fortuna so car rental was needed. Beautiful secluded spot with a gorgeous terrace and small roof dipping pool/tub (villa cacao). Room had everything we needed and was very clean. «Wifi didn’t work we were stranded. The manager only activated to us his personal wifi in the morning at breakfast. The road leading up to the lodge is very tough. The manager offered to guide us but was veryyyyy expensive. Around 300 dollars for 2 days »

«Absolutely fantastic experience! The private patio overlooking Playa Ocotal is so spacious, and there is always a breeze. Wake up to the sound of howler monkeys in the hills and various birds calling all day. The air conditioned tent keeps you cool at night but you could easily not use ac and let the breeze come through the mesh screens. The host is super responsive if you have questions or need anything.
