«Nice place, cozy, very small. Nice terrasse for breakfast etc.(breakfast not included, though. Buy your own at nearby Vons, Albertsson or several other places). Among the cheapest places to stay on Coronado. Management on site only during workhours (welcome letter taped to office door for check-ins outside of workhours). Perfect location on beautiful Coronado island. Outside the hustle & bustle of downtown San Diego. Yet only a 5 min. walk + 15 min. boat trip to downtown (or a $15 taxiride).»

«Great location, room clean and roomy with plenty of amenities. Breakfast was good and had a wonderful variety. Front desk staff were awesome! Very helpful and accommodating!!! Would definitely stay again!»

«Crown City Inn in Coronado is such a unique gem. I typically only stay in big ‘upscale’ hotels and unless they’re truly distinguished I don’t like them very much. The Crown’s beach motel vibe was perfect, it’s charming, quant, clean, and perfectly situated. Getting out of the bustle that is downtown SD, and taking retreat at the Crown was a great choice. I was the envy of my team, all of whom were stuck in some mediocre mainstream hotel in the city. Without a doubt I’ll stay here the next ...

«I can't see myself going to San Diego without being able to stay at 1906. Staff was great and the breakfasts were INCREDIBLE! If you don't want the business of a large hotel and you like the charm of B&B's, this hotel is for you. I just got back today and already miss this place! »
