The bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable. We got a great night's sleep. The home is very quiet and insulated from any outside noises. Holli was a pleasure to work with. «It was a good overall experience. Checkin was a little off but the host reacted really well. Beds were very comfortable. Big tv and couches were nice. Well stocked kitchen. «We were very happy with the home and the proximity to the soccer fields. Our grandson was so happy to have the hot tub to soak in after very physical games. I was also happy to see it was a cat friendly home. Cat friendly homes are hard to find. We did not bring our cats with us on this trip, but so happy to know they were welcome. »

The location is nice for deploying by car across the New River Gorge region. In West Virginia fashion, expect 3-7 coal trains a night at the nearby double crossing. Their horns can be startling if you’re a light sleeper. Our kids didn’t mind at all and loved the trains. Even the Amtrak Cardinal line runs through 3x a week at 10:30 am.
