«When we arrived, we found mouse droppings on the bed, in the bathroom & dining room area. We had to wash the bedding and clean up. (So much for the cleaning fee, they charge!) Very disappointed in what our once favorite place to stay, has become. The past 2 times we've stayed, we've been dissatisfied with the cleanliness, which we brought to Gaustehaus Schmidt's attention. Decided to try again. Strike three, they're out. We'll have to search for another place, next time.»

«This is a gem in Boerne! First thing I’ll say is that everything in the listing is 100% correct and accurate. In fact, the place looks even better than the pictures! The house is 4 individual suites - 2 that are 2BR and 2 that are 1 BR. All suites come with bathroom and microwave and fridge. Plus there’s a separate kitchenette everyone can meet up in and a lovely backyard and a front porch. Plenty of space for parking. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops and the river. It felt cozy ...
