«This was an extremely nice place for our vacation. It has everything you could possibly want or need. Great location, close to Schoodic Point which is one of our favorite sites. Several place to eat; so no cooking was also a plus for us. The weather was great and the price was great for the high quality of the home. The privacy was also a plus. We enjoyed sitting at sea side watching the changing tides.»

«This property was outstanding. The view from the back deck makes you feel like you're the only people for miles. Watching the changes from low tide to high is fascinating. We had a great time with the kayaks and paddle boards (only possible at higher tide levels - delayed almost 2 hours from ocean tide charts), and my kids loved the loft. Highly recommend visiting the nearby Tidal Falls Preserve at different tide levels. Communication with the host was phenomenal. We truly enjoyed this stay!»

«This was our 5th stay at Bear Beach. We usually like to move around and try new places, but there simply is no place like it. It is a beautiful tradition we vow to repeat each year from our beach chairs. Maine at its wildest and most serene, with absolute privacy, epic days and glorious sunsets. We love to swim at high tide, dig for clams and clay at low tide and then rinse in the warm outdoor shower and relax in the sauna. Thank you Sue for sharing this with us!»
