«This cottage was right on the main road in Colonial Beach. It was very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The outdoor area was relaxing and had a fire pit and grill. The location was close to everything in town. You could walk to the beach and many stores and restaurants. We love the area and hope to return soon!»

«This was our first time in Colonial Beach and we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get around town. The house is beautiful and in a great location close to everything. The homeowner was also great to work with and we’ll definitely be back soon!»

«This was such a lovely weekend away right on the river! We enjoyed the water access, hot tub, tree swing and beautiful yard. The entire cottage has been lovingly restored and updated; the meticulously refinished pine floors are gorgeous! Everything was immaculate and well appointed. We will certainly be back!»

«I was looking for a nice, quiet, and relaxing, vacation. This property did not disappoint. The house was comfortable, cozy, well stocked, and so clean. The view is incredible. Just sitting outside watching the river was so "Zen". I had one of the most restful vacations ever. I was there for a little over two weeks and I would have stayed longer if I could have, Kim, the host, was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying at this beautiful property again.»

«Fabulous place. Very clean and user friendly (labeled light switches, clear directions left on countertop). Kids (and grownups!) LOVED the indoor pool and the “mermaid shower” in the main downstairs bedroom. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful weekend getaway.»

«Wonderful view from the livingroom & the master bedroom. Clean house with hardwood floors. Great time for kids crabbing & a great place to fish -- one slot red, a few puppy drums, croakers, and even a couple of cownose rays that gave maybe the best fight I've had fishing! Michelle was very communicative & helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!»

«Overall very nice, clean, etc. Happy with it. Getting picky, they have everything you need for coffee but no coffee. Chairs seemed kind of cheap, didn't fit the rest of the nice furniture. Beds were Very comfortable.Nice porch and deck.»

«We came for Mother’s Day weekend to relax and fish. I can say it was a success. There is not much around to do if you are looking for entertainment. The house is set up well for you to relax and fish from the private pier. There are two private beaches with in walking distance. The house was well furnished. We ate at Angelos which was good and is about 15 minutes from the house. We drove to Kimmie Ann Bait and Tackle to get all the bait and table we needed which is anbout 40 minutes Everyone is ...

«We had a wonderful time. My husband spent the days crabbing from the pier, my brother fishing from the pier. We all went out kayaking. Beautiful sunsets. Enjoyed a crazy night of ping pong, playing cards and online Jackbox games. Plenty of space and loved the large kitchen and bathroom for every bedroom. None of us wanted to leave.»

«The property is easy to access and the house is filled with natural light from the huge windows. It’s a wonderful getaway if you want to unplug and enjoy a cozy few days of quiet. We found a waterfront Mexican restaurant nearby and walked to the winery next door. It’s very clean and the host is very responsive if you have any questions. Loved drinking coffee on the deck while enjoying the peaceful pond view. Left relaxed and refreshed!»
