The house was very clean and as advertised (actually it was better than pics!). We arrived Saturday evening and the host was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. They left us 2 pair of eclipse glasses, bottle of wine and plenty of kitchen/bathroom amenities. The pellet stove was simply fantastic! ...

Everyone had had a bit of a stressful Fall and the home in its gorgeous was the cure for what ailed us. Gorgeous, super fun, creatively designed house with some of the best views I've seen anywhere, even on gray days. Convenient to lots of great hiking and mountain biking as well as kayaking/canoeing and (for the hardier souls) swimming. Highly recommend!»

«Our family gathered here for the 2024 solar eclipse and could not have asked for a better place. The property is quiet, well-maintained, clean, and beautiful. The property owner is responsive and helpful. We lucked out with great weather: sunny and clear views of Katahdin, with ice still on the lake and piles of snow from a spring snowstorm. «The home had most everything that we needed. Loved the location on the lake and the proximity to Baxter State Park and Millinocket! It was quite comfortable. The window blinds need to be replaced so that they are easier to raise and lower, but that is minor. Note that the cold and hot water controls in the lower level shower are reversed.»

«Beautiful home with all the amenities you need to visit this area. Parking is an issue with a group people as you share a driveway with the neighbor. Definitely not a snowmobile destination if you want to access trails from where you stay.»

We came during snow and ice still on the lake, but I can imagine what a perfect place for the summer too. Loved how friendly everyone is in the area.
