Feriehjem i Church Stretton

«We had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed our time at the kingfisher Shepherds hut. If your looking to stay please bare in mind that the hut is very small, there is very limited kitchen supplies, ie no oven, microwave or decent sized freezer. Unfortunately lots of flys got into our hut which we had to sleep with as we had no repellent and no nets were provided. It is a bit of a faff having to heat your own hot tub and sauna, building the fire and keeping it alight for atleast 2hrs is hard work ...

«Got there with 3 hot and tired children (long car journey) and my 70 year old mum only to find theyd cancelled our booking. I received no communication of this. My booking and payment had been confirmed. I even received an email the next morning to see how our stay was going and another asking us to rate our stay. We booked through hotels.com and still trying to get to the bottom of what happened. We ended up in a quadruple room in the Travel lodge (at our own expense) this was not the family ...

«Great communication throughout, wonderfully equipped couldn’t want for more, loved our visit from the local cats and puppy. Very peaceful Shane we couldn’t stay longer thank you»

«We had a lovely stay here, we will be coming back in the Summer and for longer.Quiet and secluded just what we needed to relax and charge our batteries. »

«We have stayed here twice and booked again for next year. Its a lovely house, close to all amenities, very clean and tidy.A couple of issues. No room for our recycling in the bins and rug in the front room was dangerous. 3 of us spilt hot drinks when we went to sit down on the sofe and it slid and knocked us off our feet. But we love it Thank you»

«We booked this for just one night. It cost just under 400 and it sounded fab. We opened the door on arrival and the smell of Indian food hit us like a brick wall. We had to leave all windows and doors open for hours. It was grimy and sticky and the cutlery and cups were filthy with food still stuck to them. The cups were smeared with brown marks inside. Two of the beds were brick hard. The floors and doors squeaked so badly and we could hear the neighbours doors opening and closing next door. ...

«We had a wonderful stay at Glebe Cottage. We could not fault anything. Communications and directions were clear. The cottage was immaculate and well presented with beautiful views. Having the use of the hot tub was also a bonus. Highly recommend.»
