«We stayed here as a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids - 10, 6 and 4) in the traditional Japanese room. We didn't get in till 6ish and left early so we could get to Kamikochi but I wish we had of added another night or at least got there at check in time to make the most of the facilities. «Great location for the hotel to see both the Shinhotaka ropeway and the Kamikochi park. Inside it was clean, quiet and, of course, great private onsens. 2 indoor and 1 outdoor. Water was very hot, but relaxing. Will definitely book again if we're back here»

«We had a wonderful time at this ryokan. We chose this inn specifically for its remote location and traditional atmosphere and were not disappointed. The hotel, outdoor onsen, and woodsy surroundings were all excellent. «夕食は創作和食でした。懐石料理は食べきれない事もあるのですが、どの料理も適量で美味しく食べられました。 また、チェックイン前に荷物を立山駅で朝の送迎バスに預けられないか問い合わせたところ、快く引き受けていただき助かりました。 おかげで安心してアルペンルートを楽しむ事が出来ました。 別邸での宿泊で部屋に温泉があったのも良かったです。全てが完璧で満足です！ 次は紅葉の時期にお邪魔したいと思っています。»

«Good size room. Like the free flow of drinks (local sake, Asahi beer, coffee/tea) provided from 5pm till midnight at the lobby. Cosy lounge area. Very helpful and friendly staff. Top marks to all of them. Hotel very conveniently located near the old town. I would recommend trying at least once the Japanese breakfast provided by the hotel. »
