«We absolutely loved our stay at Cow Byre 1 — it surpassed our expectations. The accommodation felt homely with lots of thoughtful touches, and you can really see the care that’s gone into both the property and the grounds. Our son especially loved the games room and used it every day. It was quiet, in a great location, and we still felt a real sense of space and privacy even though it seemed fully booked. «What a perfect place to stay. I was visiting my son in Bristol as he’s in uni and wanted a little place to stay just outside of the city and this was just perfect. Gorgeous surroundings and the room its self was so lovely and clean and had everything you would need for an overnight stay. Loved the breakfast that was left and impressed they offered gluten free options ….i did take the pastries back for my husband to eat as didn’t want them to go to waste lol….i would definitely use this again ...

" The hotel room was very spacious — plenty of room for three adults sharing a family room. Having both a bathtub and shower was a great bonus, as were the coffee and tea making facilities. The location is excellent — just a 10-minute walk from shopping, sights and the train station. Breakfast was outstanding. With such a wide selection, you'd have to be very particular not to find something you enjoy! 😉 The pool is on the smaller side, but the timeslot booking system at the front desk works well as a solution. Front desk staff were pleasant when approached, though perhaps not the most proactive when it came to guest service. WiFi was adequate, and in-room cleaning left something to be desired — we noticed fingermarks on light switches and some dust in places. We would definately recommend this hotel to other travellers. "
