12. The Portland Guesthouse

Cheltenham

«We had an excellent stay at The Portland. Gabriela could not have been more helpful in advance with clear instructions and sorting a parking permit for £5 for 24 hours. The safe parking was around the posh Clarence Square not too far away. There were other places in Zone 10 too. Gabriela allowed us early access to our wonderful room (No 6) because we had a memorial service to attend and wanted to sort things before we set forth. The simple breakfast was fine with orange juice, fruit, ...

«집안은 청결했습니다. 내가 다녀본 많은 숙박시설 중 주방이 가장 훌륭했습니다. 깔끔하고 정돈되어 있었으며, 빵과 우유,버터 ,쨈,베이컨 등 훌륭한 식사재료가 준비되어 있었습니다. 위치도 훌륭했고, 현관 잠금장치도 영국에서는 보기드문 버튼식이어서 아주 편리했습니다. 여행객들에게 적극 추천하고 싶습니다.»

16. The Royal George Birdlip by Greene King Inns

«The rooms are ok, but the food is a bit inconsistent for our our stay. The breakfast was fine but the service was slow due to lack of staff. (20 mins for some gluten free toast) The British obsession with dogs such that they welcome them into the hotel is somewhat puzzling as food is being served in the bar yet dogs are being feed by the owners from the table! The hotel has an odour of dog which really should not be there. No dogs should be around any place that is serving food!!! However the ...

Anmeldelser av populære hoteller i Cheltenham

Queens Hotel Cheltenham

8/10 Bra

"Despite arrogant front desk staff in daytime and a lot of fuss around a promised later check-out - which ended in rude behaviour from frontdesk and ended in me being thrown out before the agreed time, the hotel is very good and maintains high standard."

Cheltenham Chase Hotel & Spa

8/10 Bra

"The hotel is fine. The aircon was great (heatwave when we were there). Good room with a fridge, so in general happy with the room. We didn't go to the spa, so I don't know how that is. We did however have dinner at the restaurant one night. The service was so bad and the food was ok-ish, when we got what we ordered. We had to go find someone to order drinks and ask for water, and we tried to make contact with the waiters a long time. The cutlery was also dirty. We saw several other tables (most of the tables) sending their order back. Breakfast also seemed alot like dinner, with dirty cutlery and cups, and no service. It seemed like we could order breakfast from the kitchen (based on the menu on the table stating "breakfast"), but we didn't bother to find someone to order from..."
