«It took us half an hour to find it no 1 Prospect Road is half way down the road and our sat nav kept taking us to no 61 (who are apparently the family if the owner) abd told us they didn't know where the property was. You don't get duvet and white sheets but what you see in the photos which is a shame as the bed is comfortable. On the whole it wasn't a bad stay and the owner is very friendly and helpful»

«All I can say about the property is that it was clean. The owner did repair the loose toilet seat, replace the dead smoke alarm battery, and bring more crockery fairly quickly after I complained. But the listing description was woefully inaccurate and certainly didn't mention the patched and mended state of most rooms. This is not a 10* 'excellent' property. Far from it. If it had been accurately listed (and priced accordingly) then that's fair enough, but I was expecting a much higher standard ...

10. Mersea Anchorage Cottage | Estuary Views

West Mersea

«We had a lovely short break in this charming cottage. The location is one of the best on the island, down a very quiet track with views out to the estuary and a short walk down to the harbour. Cottage was well equipped and has been renovated to a high spec. Steps upstairs are steep, reflecting how old the property is, so won’t suit anyone with mobility issues, but fine for us - just added to the character of the property. Would love to return!»

11. The Lake Hub: Comfortable 2-Bedroom Apartment with Private Garden

Becontree

«The property has a lot of potential, but it's not quite there yet. The upstairs was nice, clean. The downstairs needs some attention. Pots & pans need replacing, need matches for the cooker, cleaning products, tea towels. Broken chair back in living room, uncomfortable sofa, could also do with some cushions. Also not happy that the check in details are provided at noon on the day of arrival, even though payment is taken in advance. Having said all that, if the issues were addressed I would stay ...

Anmeldelser av populære hoteller i Chelmsford

Hampton by Hilton London Stansted Airport

10/10 Utmerket

"Pleasant stay. Clean room, friendly staff and okay breakfast."

Signature Hotel London

8/10 Bra

"Det eneste jeg savnet var mer variasjon i frokosten. Jeg liker flerkornbrød, kjøttpålegg og flere oster å velge mellom. Når det kommer til blomster og planter, er det ødeleggende for det vakre hotellet at mange bare var laget av plastikk. Ekte planter er bra for inneklimaet og øker trivselen."
