«Just what we wanted. Slow days, sunshine and no distractions. Time to do word puzzles, paint pictures, press flowers, cook pancakes and talk. I enjoyed these precious few days with my three kids. «Beautiful little house to stay in for the weekend visiting Sovreign Hill. 3 bedrooms plus a 4th set up as a nursery. It was bliss not needing to bring a portacot, highchair or any of the other baby stuff. It was all here. So clean and lots of lovely inclusions such as butter, hot chocolate sachets etc. Another review mentioned some of the bedroom doors don’t close but we didn’t find this a problem. There are cute little weighted bags and we just used these to stop it swinging open. Things like ...

«Our family of parents and 17 and 12 year old kids enjoyed our stay and the cottage was as advertised, cosy and functional. We enjoyed the pastoral outlook to the hills, the visiting chooks, and the prelaid fire. Our hosts turned on the lights and heater for our evening arrival - very kind. Our daughter LOVED the mezzanine bedroom and we all enjoyed the short drive to phenomenal bushwalking and the quiet away from the bustle of a very busy long weekend in Halls Gap.»

«Stayed in one of the couples cabins with spa. Super comfy bed, cabin had everything you needed. Very basic couch and table, and bathroom was very old with chips in bath tub and very average shower taps. Electric blanket and heater were great. Limited kitchen supplies and no front balcony. Overall perfectly fine but thought the price was way too steep for what you got. $250/night!!!! »
