«We had a fabulous weekend getaway at this property. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location is great for access to hiking trails and the Shenandoah mountains. When we arrived, the hot tub was not cleaned and was cold but the owners responded right away and got the cleaners to arrive within a couple hours to clean it. They were extremely responsive and answered all questions quickly. »

«This home did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed having many outside activities at the home. Inside was set up perfectly for tons of family fun. This was our favorite house yet, and we have been coming once a year for 4 years. Highly recommend this home for large groups with kids. »

«Beautiful home with serene views of the river, very quiet and peaceful. River access was easy with stairs right to it and TWO decks over looking. The screen porch is an added bonus with hot tub. Plenty of towels, washing clothes provided. Check in was very easy & communication was great! The pup enjoyed it as much as we did, the weather was very hot (recird breaking) the window units kept up the best they could to keep us cooled. «First time here, staying in the lodge in a themed room with a fantastic view and wonderful sunrise. Food was excellent in the restaurant. The surprise came when we found out that a large fireworks display was being held at the lodge! We did not have to go anywhere for anything! One little complaint: we heard the people above us. Other than that, great experience!»

«The drive up to the lodge was beautiful. We passed the chickens and goats on the way. The grounds are vast, creating a quiet, enchanting atmosphere. We were reserved for a 2nd floor room but requested a change to 1st floor after we arrived. The office was closed but there was an after hours number we could call. They switched our room without any problem and the staff (Tina, I think?) was so pleasant and accommodating. Our room was SPOTLESS and so well decorated, we felt like we hit the jackpot. ...
