«Property was clean and very nice. Staff was very helpful, even during our mid evening fire alarm. LOL Did not use much at the hotel but saw that they had a ton of stuff. Will definitely be returning during our kids stay at JMU!! Maryann Towell»

«We stayed here for one night as we where driving through the area. The hotel is generally quite new and holds a modern standard. What bothers me about a brand new building (as a non us resident) is that there will still be quite a noticeable noise disturbance from neighbour rooms. This could have been alot better. We slept well though as the noise calmed down around evening time. Breakfast was very simple - just a few choices of yoghurt, muffin, granola bars, oatmeal and cooked eggs. »

«For a national park accommodations it was better than some, worse than others. Mattresses lumpy, very loud bathroom exhaust fan, yet did actually have a TV, with 12 channels and a mini refrigerator. Multiple dead bugs in the room on the floor and a few live lightening bugs, but this is in a park setting.»

«This property is nestled by the river, which is such a lovely spot. Donna is such a wonderful innkeeper; she made us feel right at home. The breakfast was both healthy and delicious, and it was made with love. I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you’re searching for a lovely BnB near Shenandoah National Park, this is like home without the chores. If I could give it 6 stars, I would!»

«From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The bed was super comfortable and the caretaker, Julianne was so professional. Sitting on the rockers reading a book enjoying a hot cup of coffee was the perfect way to start the end. Highly recommend!!»

«Love the convenience of the Hotel Madison. I can visit my daughter on campus and never worry about where I am or where I'm going to park. Clean space, friendly service. Air conditioning is a little wonky (it is difficult to make room cool), but that is my only criticism. »

«Found this resort by accident and it was a total God Wink. It was exactly what we were looking for and loved it. Golf course was fantastic! We will be coming back at least twice a year on our trips back and forth from Florida to New York.»

«This hotel had laundry, the reason I stayed there. The machines worked fine, and the desk helpfully changed the requisite number of quarters. The laundry room really could use a good cleaning.The room was nice and large though.»

«The room smelled really bad. I think someone had smoked in there before, or maybe since it was on the first floor they must had some moisture issues. Also there was no water at all. They ran out when I checked in and in the morning when I checked out they didn't have any bottled water. And no complimentary coffee which is very unusual»
