«We wanted to stay forever and weren't ready to leave after 5 days. It was clean, and it is so high up in the treetops that the morning sunrise and birding wildlife are next-level spectacular to enjoy (hummingbirds, stellars jays, deer). «The location was a perfect stay for us. We wanted to do activities during the day and rest at night and it’s close enough to Colorado Springs that we could easily drive there in 30 minutes. Palmer Lake and Monument are also adorable. We had twin deer babies that would play in the yard every morning, one morning a giant cinnamon bear even made an appearance!
