«Overall, the hotel was just ok. We just needed a place to stay for a 2 day event in Port Clinton, and this location worked. The main issue is that they have changed to virtual keycards. You have to rely on your phone to open your room door. This went as well as it sounds. I couldn't get mine to work at all. I asked the front desk multiple times, but they couldn't figure it out either. Luckily, my mom's worked, but it was a hassle to pull it up every time we were trying to get in the room. When ...

«The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were too soft, the deadbolt on the front door was broken and the toilet seat was loose.»

«Nothing fancy. Old motel built in the '50's and added on and renovated. Rooms are clean and the staff is very nice. They say breakfast is included, but it is only coffee and some packaged pastries. No big deal because all I wanted was coffee. It backs right up to the river where boats dock and the Bait House Bar, which has a big outdoor patio and sometimes live music. Nice stay for a reasonable price. Walking distance to anything downtown.»

«The hotel has free bowling next door, friendly staff, free but very basic breakfast, free ice cream social in evening and a great location in vicinity of the park. Room was not cleaned up and beds were not made, towels picked but not replaced for two straight days which was the most disturbing - I have never seen this at even smaller motels. The phone was not even connected to the wire when we decided to call for help.»
