«The property is nicely renovated but we were not aware of the .5 meter wide spiral steel staircase. I have severe arthritis in my knees and ankles and this staircase kept me grounded on the ground floor. There was a discrepancy between what VRBO charged me and what the owners thought they should receive. VRBO had to work on a settlement. The experience left a bitter taste. There is one feeder street that is one way, and the property is on a one way street. Catania Public Works had access closed ...

«This is a fantastic apartment and great value, the kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need with loads of pots and appliances, it has 4 TV screens with 1 at 6ft with Netflix! «Casa D’aria is a quaint and lovely place for a vacation set in an ideal location in Catania. The eclectic style of the entire building is so interesting and homey. We had excellent communication with the owners leading up to our check in. The room was massive! With the comfiest bed tucked up on a loft. We made use of the full kitchenette and our room even had a washer to do our laundry. The rooftop communal terrace was a great place to enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to the sounds of Catania. ...

"The Hotel-staff was excellent and very helpful. We will give a special appreciation to Giuseppe for extra good service. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It has a few good places to eat and drink near by, a shopping mall close by. It’s close to the sea and the lava-‘beaches’ and walking distance to the town center (30-50 minutes), but busses are useful for faster transport (we assume:-)) Ok Italian breakfast. On the downside it’s close to a busy road, but even with our room facing towards it, we didn’t have any big issues. The A/C makes a bit of noise, but it was possible to turn off. We didn’t have a car but the hotel has parking available inside a fenced area. The room was spacious and with bathtub, fridge and a small safe. We enjoyed our stay. "
