«A very charming and remodelled village hotel with an excellent restaurant - locals and travelers alike are welcome. Chef creates new dishes depending the daily food availability - mostly local - organic and fresh. Room was very nice, clean and had a new wonderful bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast made to order plus smaller buffet for yoghurt, juices, cereals. We would come back anytime.»

«Martin and Melanie are lovely hosts. B&B is a short walks from local pubs. The sunday lunch in the George was excellent.
Breakfast around the kitchen table with the other guests was a real treat. As was the various fruits from their garden.
Easy travel to numerous places including Stourhead and the Fleet Air Arm Museum. Great hosts highly recommended.»

«The George is a lovely, old-fashioned kind of hotel in a small village. Check in was a little confused as we missed the sign that said reception but once we found it, it was easy.
The room was spacious with a king sized bed, kettle, desk and chair. I was extremely impressed with the breakfast. Tea, coffee, juice, cereal and toast then a cooked choice from the menu. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
A lovely stay and we would definitely return.»
