«Great place, the Desert of Maine campground. The entire cabin was spotless. Great communication from the host, Doug. So wonderful for pets also. Quiet, clean & perfect. 5 stars. What a wonderful stay! If you are looking for a beautiful and peaceful get away, this is the place for you! You will not be disappointed. Doug is an awesome host!»

«Not as advertised; teeny. The photos made it look spacious. The front yard was being raked and seeded for grass when we arrived so there were broken branches on our path. The deck, table and chairs had not been cleaned and we're dirty and covered with leaf litter. The room had no comfy chair, only a floor lamp with a bare bulb. No hooks for hanging anything and no coat hangers. We left to find another place to stay and have been promised a refund that has not come through. Very disappointed!»

«We rented this home as an overflow for our high school graduate as we welcomed family in for a week of events. It worked for us and provided the extra room we needed as well as a fun afternoon of playing on the lake with the kayaks and paddle boards. Communication with the host was excellent, they were very responsive to a few minor issues we encountered on our stay. The property is situated on a very steep hill - the driveway is not for the faint of heart and we laughed every time we backed ...

«Please listen closely!! If you pass this place up, I truly feel sorry for you. I am on a first time adventure to Maine from Indiana and this is my FAVORITE place stay of ALL TIME. I wish I had done my homework and planned more time at Desert of Maine. Our cabin was cozy after a nice evening by the fire. Loved the shower!! I will definitely return for a girl's trip with my sisters!! (Cabin 17)»
