«This was simply an awful experience not only could we reach a live person on the phone prior to our trip, no return call then it got worse when we arrived no check in desk no one to greet us or answer any questions. We had to dial a # to let them know we arrived. Staff never to be seen again. Paid 300.00 for the night broken coffee maker, no batteries in spoke detector simply an awful experience »

«Very old school motel. Driveway entrance give feeling of not well maintained property but it was very clean, the rooms were very spacious albeit dated.»

«Housekeeping was not great. I had to ask if our room would be cleaned as it was past 6pm and was not cleaned. I found out they only clean every three days. This was Sunday. Room serviced Monday but not cleaned until Friday when I asked. There was sticky stuff on the floors and beds were never made. The free breakfast was not very good although the omelet station was good. The location is great for first timers visiting Maine.»

«We were situated in "Sunset C" cabin. It needs an overhaul!! My husband was very upset .....bathroom was tiny!! No mat in the slippery tub; my husband slipped and fell out onto the floor. ( after requesting a mat, a female assistant brought one). The entrance door frame around entrance door was NOT fitted to the door.... gap of 1/4" at least with light shining thru the space. More than 2 switches/outlets did NOT WORK in Sunset C. I believe the newer buildings are probably very nice!! But ...

«Beautiful hotel, amazing grounds with water views, a nice pool, gazebo, outdoor games for kids and adults and an indoor gameroom too. Mike and i enjoyed the ping pong table. Definitely worth the money and we will be back to stay again. The restaurant at the hotel had gormet food and wonderful, friendly service. The server also went out of his way to check if the hotel would be lighting the firepit outside because we mentioned we would like to have a quiet night by the fire. The hotel staff ...

«We enjoyed our stay here. We stayed on the 3rd floor. Had a private deck and beautiful view. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, water was hot, and the shower had good pressure. Area was great! Could walk to shops and restaurants. FYI.. room was a bit dated but it had Maine country vibes. I wouldn’t change it!»

«Price was unbeatable, bed was comfy and clean, shower hot and clean. Yes, the place is under renovation and the breakfast lacking, but staff was kind and again, price was unbeatable. Basic accommodations, not swanky at all. If you are looking for a comfortable place to hang out and socialize, not the place I would choose. If you are needing a stay for the night, like I was, it does the trick.»

«the comfort was a great place, except the fact they were in middle of renovation. So it was very dusty but as soon as they are finished I believe it will be real nice. They even had gluten free bread and real cheerios. This made it handy for me as I am glutenfree.»
