«This is a great, walkable downtown location for restaurants, shops, etc. We had a deluxe king suite upstairs, and you will need to use the stairs (ok for us). It was spacious enough, and bed was comfy. Coffeemaker (k-pods) in room, but also lobby coffee, in addition to microwave and refrigerator in room. No breakfast goodies, but you save alot (if there are just 2 of you). A/C is the typical hotel style, but it worked well. We stayed on back side, so we didn't face Hwy 395.

«The room was spic N span! The staff was so helpful, courteous and accommodating. Due to no air conditioning & opening the window, the ceiling fan was just not enough for cooling. I would recommend making the wall unit a duel combo making it AC & Heat. Besides excellent lodging accommodations, the recommendations for restaurants were excellent - the Stonefly offers the best fine dining. «During me and my girlfriend G's road trip through California we did a two nights stop in South Lake Tahoe and stayed at Heavenly Vally Lodge. This show itself be one of the best places we stopped during the entire trip.
