«The road to get here is really winding so I suggest going during daylight hours. Once we arrived, We found the parking but couldn't figure out where the place was. So we walked straight ahead of where we parked and found it. Uneven stairs to get to front door. Once we were inside it was very nice. It's only peaceful if there isn't any family's with kids in the above house, so I suggest asking first. The view from the deck is a lot of trees so you can't see much. «The property was overall incredible. We had a very relaxing time during our stay. The house very comfortably accommodated all 9 of us. Getting from town to the house is about 20 minutes but a beautiful, scenic drive. All of the accommodations at the house were lovely from the full gym, to hot tub, fire pit and sauna & cold plunge. We did have a small issue with the sauna but were able to reset it and get it working again. Overall we would definitely stay here again! »

«This home was just perfect for our family of 10, and super close to everything we wanted to do in Monterey. The home is very spacious and was super clean. The bedrooms were very spacious with comfortable mattresses and nice linens.Everything in the house looked brand new. The kitchen was a cooks dream. Coffee bar was my favorite. The backyard was perfect even in the rain with the covered patio. Highly recommend. »

«Overall was a good weekend. The views were stunning and property itself is great. There were a few challenges - 1 there was dead mouse in the middle of one of the guest bedrooms upon check in. This indicated to us that the house hadn’t been cleaned recently. 2 - the WiFi didn’t work at all on our first day. 3 - there is a guest house on the property that was also rented to other tenants. «The Vineyard Chateau is a beautiful and spacious home with wonderful amenities. My wife and I enjoyed cooking breakfast in the well stocked kitchen before heading out on our sightseeing adventures. The salt water pool was already warm enough (late March) to swim and the outdoor pool bar area kept us from needing to run inside for a cool drink.
