«The location was brilliant. The property was well equipped, clean and comfortable. However, the external areas were in dire need of cleansing and maintenance. (Getting rid of the bird feeders would help in this matter !!)»

«We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again!»

«Great little cottage, definitely remote (but easy to find) and with a lovely wild little garden, albeit it shared with the next door cottage, so care is needed when letting dogs (and children)! in and out. Was very well appointed although we had a couple of little niggles, being a loose toilet roll holder downstairs and we found it very dusty and would definitely benefit from a top to toe bottoming with a damp cloth, surfaces, inside cupboards etc. Finally we weren't overlly keen on the lack of ...

«We had a wonderful stay at Settlers lodge. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped! Loved seeing the squirrels around the garden! Set in a great area for walking and exploring. «An ideal quiet location with access to Penrith and the Lakes. Well appointed modern property, private parking. Host could not have been more friendly and helpfull. We did have a couple of issues with the Verbo discription verse actual facilities- however host was quick to sort out and offered us alternative very close by. Thanks for that. All in all we had a great stay and would not hesitate to book again next time we visit the lakes.»
