«Det var et større rom med gode senger akseptabel pris, selv om frokost ikke var inkludert. Stedet passer best hvis man kommer ditt med sykkel eller bil, fordi det er et stykke å gå fra stasjonen til fots. Neste morgen tok vi drosje til stasjonen, som riktignok bare kostet litt under fem pund. Nærmeste spisested er en pub i 10-15 minutters gange fra overnattingsstedet (kjøkkenet åpent til klokka 9), som var ganske bra og godt walisisk øl, men altså ikke noe utvalg av spisesteder i nærheten.»

«I embrace historic charm and quirkiness; what I don’t like are doors to bathrooms and bedrooms that don’t shut properly and lack of cleaning. The bedroom was described as deluxe double but there is nothing deluxe about it. The carpet was stained and had not been vacuumed recently as evidenced by dead flies and numerous bits. «What a fantastic B&B, free parking right behind if you are lucky. The accommodation was lovely, the rooms are brilliant, our room (right at the top) was boutique style with a nice big bath in the room, great views out of the windows. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities in the room and a private toilet. Nice comfortable big bed with a big heavy duvet and plenty of pillows. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. «I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). »
