«A lovely place to stay close to Garden of the Gods National Forest and more. My group stayed for a short trip over Memorial Day Weekend and wish we stayed longer. The place is very spacious, has plenty of bedrooms for small and larger groups, and has great updated amenities inside and in the backyard to enjoy. Highly recommend. «In Marion for a family wedding. Perfect place for all of us (adult children and teenage grandchildren and pre-teen great grandchildren). Dramatic great room overlooking 5th tee. Got to review the golfers as an added benefit. Looks like a good spot for a getaway golf weekend.»

«Cute house, right on the lake. Came down for college graduation, but seemed to spend more time at the house and lake thank anything else. House had every amenity needed, including a boat dock and electricity. On a whim decided to bring a boat along, and make a short vacation out of the trip. Looking forward to another trip down! Hopefully this house will be available on our next booking!»

«Very cute house and nice area to stay in. Enjoyed the lake and the dock my husband caught a 4 pound bass on a fly rod. He was extremely happy love that it was dog, friendly and easy for my old dog to walk the property overall a very pleasant experience.»

«Our family of 5 absolutely loved our stay at this property. There was plenty of room for our family of 5, the property decor was beautiful, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook and the beds were soooo comfortable. We enjoyed spending our evenings on the deck and using the gas grill to cook and fishing off the dock. The kids enjoyed using the water trampoline. Brad was easy to get ahold of and welcoming. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this spot to ...

«Our stay at sailor's hideaway was amazing. We stayed from May 10th through May 15th 2024. The property is situated on a 2 lot corner lot with a frontdeck. Porch has a barbecue and a nice table to sit at to watch the sunset and sunrise. Birds were seeing we saw multiple. Dear mother, dear and not very many books. The property was not really decorated outside but again. They had some bad weather and flowers are just now. Starting to Bloom. The inside is decorated in a rustic beautiful relaxing ...

«Beautiful location. The house was decorated perfectly for a bachelorette party or girls weekend. We were not the intended audience (family with young adult kids), but we loved it and had so much fun taking silly photos all over the house. Everything was provided in the kitchen and bathrooms. We used the firepit, kayaks, and hot tub and everything was great. Definitely recommend this place!»

«Great, quaint cabin, that is well maintained and tastefully appointed. Setting on the covered porch looking out over the trees and pasture made me feel like I was 1000 miles from anywhere. The hobby farm next door was really cool. There were all kinds of animals on the property, many roaming free. I even saw a skulk of foxes as I pulled into the property. A quick 8 minute drive and you were in Carbondale. Very cool.»
