Tucked away along a quiet road bordering the Shawnee National Forest, Panthers Inn offers a peaceful escape while remaining conveniently close to the best of Southern Illinois Wine Country.

Located just 2 minutes from Blue Sky and Feather Hills wineries, within 5 minutes of Panthers Den hiking trail and Shawnee Hills Canopy Tour, and only 10 minutes from I-57, Exit 40, Panthers Inn is the perfect starting and ending point for your Shawnee Hills Wine Country vacation!

The Space

The property is located along a quiet road bordering the Shawnee National Forest. The gravel driveway is on a hill, so please keep that in mind when arriving.

Outside, you'll find plenty of room and privacy for a family getaway, along with a nice, level area to sit beside the fire pit. There is currently an outdoor toss game, with plans to add more outdoor games.

Inside, a spiral staircase leads to the loft bedroom. The loft has one comfortable queen bed and one long twin bed. Extra pillows and bedding are available, with additional bedding and board games stored in the drawer beneath the twin bed.

Downstairs, the couch converts into a single bed for additional sleeping space.

There is one television that can be viewed from almost anywhere in the treehouse. Please note that cable TV, is not available due to the property's location, and cell service is limited. This is a chance to unplug, slow down, and enjoy your time surrounded by nature.

The small kitchen has most of the essentials you'll need to prepare meals, along with a good-sized refrigerator. Cleaning supplies are available under the kitchen sink.

The bathroom offers ample room to get ready for anything from a day of hunting or hiking to an afternoon exploring the wine trail or attending a wedding.

Panthers Inn offers a complimentary on-site 240V electric vehicle charging station with a J1772 connector. Charging is free during your stay! Please confirm that your vehicle is compatible and bring any adapter your vehicle may require.

Guest Access

You'll have the entire treehouse to yourself, along with approximately an acre of yard and woods to enjoy during your stay. Relax beside the fire pit, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and make yourself at home at Panthers Inn.
