«I'm sorry to be so negative as have been pleased with your property in the past.Plus points. Beds clean and comfortable and location perfect But door lock didn't close properly, the shower leaked and and most importantly for us the t.v would not tune in to the wifi Apart from the bathroom, it needed dusting and I feel there should be a warning about the stairs being so steep and dangerous though I appreciate it is a period property.I hope I have a better experience in September.»

«Great location for visiting center of Canterbury! The house is walkable to several shops and restaurants and the cathedral. The house is clean and well equipped. The back garden is superb for a dog and chillin out with a coffee in the morning or drink in the evenings. Living room, bedroom furniture and dining chairs are dated as are wall paintings/photos, like your granny’s decor. Beds are comfortable but small. If you’re used to a double bed then you’ll be fine.»

«Loved the nice soap/shower gel dispensers everywhere and the encouragement to recycle and use the food-waste caddy. The only thing that would have helped is a hand rail on the stairs - a couple of us were not 100% mobile and I was a bit concerned for their safety coming down the stairs without a hand rail. They actually managed fine and weren’t worried. Thanks for a lovely weekend!»

«Beautiful accommodation in an amazing location. The bedrooms were lovely with lots of cupboard space and the ceiling fans were wonderful in the heat. The living space was very pretty and cosy, perfect for dinners and game nights, and the outside patio area was lovely! Canterbury punting company was just a 2 minute walk, local shop and pretty high-street a 4 minute walk and the cathedral was just an 8 minute walk! «Every day we had to fight with the people that worked in the restaurant who parked illegally and constantly blocked us in. The neighbours were on our side and helped us in getting vehicles moved by these ‘well known’ lawbreakers. There were several occasions when we were unable to use our car, which changed our plans adversely. On the day of departure, I had to threaten the guy who blocked us in with his white fiat 126 (or whatever) with physical violence because he just shrugged his shoulders ...
