With pool in Calheta - Villa Island Roots

Arco da Calheta is a town in the municipality of Calheta, known for its calm, beautiful houses and excellent sun exposure. This is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday away from the urban centres.

This rustic, stone-walled house has been completely renovated to give it a new lease of life and comfort, making it the ideal choice for a family holiday. With a pleasant space and decor to match the country atmosphere, the villa is divided into two floors. On the ground floor you'll find a comfortable living room, a shared bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook your favourite dishes. From this floor you have access to the outdoor patio which is equipped with a barbecue area, a leisure area and a private swimming pool.

On the upper floor you'll find the sleeping area, with two bedrooms: one with a double bed and an en suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has two single beds and an en suite bathroom with shower.

The swimming pool has a special feature: it is treated with salt, giving it a more natural, seaside feel.

For your thermal comfort, the house is equipped with air conditioning.

It also has a parking space.
The property has a maximum capacity for four people.

AREA
Situated on the west side, this house is in the area with the most sun exposure on Madeira Island. A 5-minute drive will take you to the centre of Calheta, where you'll find the yellow sand beach, several restaurants and a supermarket.
Calheta is home to the Museum of Contemporary Art, a fantastic piece of architecture.
Jardim do Mar and Paúl do Mar are about 10 minutes away by car. These two small villages offer their own beach, entertainment and beauty.
Nearby, you'll find small restaurants and grocery shops.

GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.
There is a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the apartment.

We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- We would like to inform you that a Tourist Tax will be charged to all people staying in the municipality of Calheta. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. Before the arrival, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.
