«Nathalie and her husband are super gracious and attentive hosts. The accommodations were excellent. The welcome from Howler monkeys in the trees, was a welcome treat!! There are breathtaking views and it is a secluded and secure property. They have put a lot of love and hard work into making this gorgeous retreat.The breakfast was yummy and there is a restaurant nearby that had amazing service and good food. «This unit was great for our family. It’s really large (in fact too large for our family of 4), as it’s two separate, yet attached units. It’s located within a short walk to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, and groceries. «Ben was an amazing host. Playa Avellanas is very rural, and Ben guided us in right to his gate, no problem. Ben is super attentive, and was checking in with us frequently. He saved us a lot of money with his spot on recommendations regarding excursions and restaurants. The boardwalk to the beach, and the beach are amazing. Restaurants in the area - off the charts!»

«Beautiful, safe property perfectly located within walking distance to Playa Penca. All amenities were well kept and available to use. Our host was wonderful, and even informed us of howler monkeys across the street from the property for our son to see. Very clean and well kept. We took coffee on the screened in back porch daily and listened to the howler monkeys, ocean waves and bird songs. Would recommend to anyone we know traveling in the area. «This place was marvelous. It’s even better than the pictures make it look. Don’t hesitate. Book now. It’s be a yearly retreat for us if we didn’t have to pay for airfare to Costa Rica too. The manager lives next door and is super helpful as she understands the area well, and even runs her own coffee shop down the road from the house. If you rent a vehicle, make sure to get a 4x4. «Property manager was very helpful and responsive. Rooms and pool were clean and relaxing. Kitchen area didn't have any air conditioning, so was very hot while cooking and gathering there. Had a few issues with keys not working in locks. Overall nice place, and worked well for what we needed.»
