«The property was warm and welcoming. However, the stairs are very steep and narrow - not ideal for elderly people. The downside was that we never received the key code to get into the property and had to communicate with the owner via the Vrbo website when we arrived. However she responded immediately - very good. Is this a problem with the Vrbo website?»

«The house was lovely - a good size, well furnished and nice and warm. The floorboards are a bit creaky, especially on the stairs, and occasionally a long train would pass the property but it wasn't too noisy.
The house is very close to the town centre and local supermarkets are either a short walk or short drive. It's relatively easy to get to by car and good links to the roads out of town for exploring, and only a 10min walk to the train station.

«We had a really lovely stay at the Old Stables as a group of 30 year olds in Buxton for a wedding. Sue is a very informative host and we had no issues checking in. The house is in an excellent location and within walking distance of all Buxton has to offer. The photos also don’t do the house justice, it is so spacious and has everything needed for a great group holiday! »
