«The location is great, yes the kitchen is outside, but its not a deal breaker, the kitchen was clean and tidy, previous comments suggested no heating in the bathroom, this wasn't the case, the property has full central heating and the water was very hot. Yes the decor is a little dated, but we used the property as a base, and weren't there to rate the standard of decor. Yes, the kitchen would benefit from an airfryer but again the fact that they didn't have one didn't spoil the trip. Would I use ...

«What a lovely property - it did exactly what it said on the tin! There was loads of room for everyone to be together or doing different things - the games room and conservatory were particular favourites. The house was spotless and extremely well equipped - the kitchen had absolutely everything that we needed. The host was really friendly and helpful and on hand if we had any problems. It was definitely the right place for a multi age multi family break - thank you.»

«The house was easy to find and only 6/7 mins walk into town ,the house was beautiful the photos don’t do it justice,the hot tub was a clean and hot ; the only down side was it could of done with some sort of lighting outside around the hot tub as we stayed at the end of Oct and it was dark around 7 o’clock ,otherwise we couldn’t fault anything else.»

«This property has character and is very close to the centre of Buxton. There are plenty of pubs in walking distance as well as take-out and a Sainsbury's local. We were a party of eight adults and it worked well. Everything was serviceable and good value for the price. «Really great 4 night stay here for a work trip. Flat was lovely and clean other than whoever washed up last didn't do a great job as some of the plates were a bit dirty. Flat is in a perfect location with a supermarket a 10 second walk away and surrounded by restaurants. Also a 2 minute walk to some lovely gardens. Would definitely recommend.»

Et hotell med sjel.
"Innsjekking gikk grei og rommene var romslige. Dette er et meget gammelt hotell så det er jo litt knirk i gulvet og skjevt, men det er jo sjarmen. Badet var fint og nyoppusset, og sengene komfortable. Frokosten var meget bra første morgenen, men de tre etterfølgende frokostene var venting på egg eller andre ingredienser til full engelsk frokost. Totalt sett var det et meget hyggelig opphold med fullt av puber og restauranter i nærheten. Det ligger en stor og fin park på andre sida av gata, og operaen/teateret ligger i samme gata."

"Dette hotellet var helt ok, men ikke noe mer. Det var veldig lytt mellom rommene, og jeg kunne høre naboen snorte. Man må også betail £5 pr døgn for parkering, og £7.50 for wifi pr døgn pr enhet. Og rommet blir ikke rengjort mens man bor der. Dette er verdt å ta med i betraktningen når man sammenligner priser. Om jeg skal til Buxton igjen så kan jeg bo her, men jeg kommer til å se på andre muligheter også."
