«We had a great family getaway here! The hot tub was amazing and the views from the hot tub were perfect. What a beautiful location - quiet, peaceful and a fun space for kids to explore. We had an amazing time trekking out in the woods in the snow.Kitchen was well stocked and the treats, coffee and tea were a nice bonus. My kids enjoyed the extra games as well! Extremely quick responses from the host as well! Thanks for a good time, we are already thinking about coming back in the summer.»

7. Two Brooks Lodge

Bennington

«Strong dog smell, dirty shabby condition of interior surfaces. Obvious makeshift repairs, spongy floors, torn, flaking couch. Kitchen counter had multiple burn marks and some sticky substance, corner held down with duct tape. Screen door off tracks, laying against wall. Wife was stung by insect in the unit, had to go to hospital. We moved out after only 3 hours, and literally slept in the car rather than go back. Owner uncaring, rude and greedy. Slow to return security deposit. I've ...

9. Cozy Home in Pownal VT

Pownal

«We are still enjoying our stay, but I wanted to leave a review because we’ve had such a wonderful experience. The house is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful mature greenery, and incredibly quiet. After spending so much time in a noisy city, this was exactly the escape we needed. We were able to truly relax, unwind, and enjoy the calm atmosphere. The property feels private and well cared for, and the natural surroundings make it even more special. This has been one of those places where you ...

12. Riverfront Rustic 1824 Mansion

Troy

«The house was very historic and charming and the property was gorgeous and had a stunning view. However the property didn't seem safe with the door being glass and not a sturdy lock. We also couldn't find a garbage can in any space except the bathroom downstairs. We moved that to the kitchen in order to throw out basic things like tissues and receipt papers. The AC downstairs was literally frozen and therefore didn't really cool the space. It was uncomfortable to be in that space and it ...

13. Pet-Friendly Home w/ Patio: 4 Mi to Saratoga Spa!

Saratoga Springs

«I don’t think this property is set up as a vacation rental, especially in beautiful upscale Saratoga Springs. Felt more like a room for your college student child. Tiny shower (24”x24”), terrible internet streaming service, no microwave, furniture very uncomfortable, leaking bathroom fixture. Check-in was problematic…wrong entrance code provided while standing in pouring rain. Landscape contractor just walked into unit while we were partially undressed…very nerve-wracking.No amenities, such as ...
