«The place was lovely but the air-conditioner in both bedrooms needed replacing. The manager did give us a good heater after being cold in both bedrooms on the first night. We needed to leave the door open in the 2nd bedroom to allow the heat to flow through from the living area. »

«Booked the hotel in the afternoon online, arrived at 19.00 - nobody there. Reception closed and all dark! Eventually discovered a note with a phone no to call in "emergency" - suprise - answeringmachine! Then tried next phone no and a very surprised persons answered and it took her at least 30 minutes to arrive. The restaurant was closed Mondays and Tuesdays, we had to head out in the dark to find somewhere to eat dinner. Was advised there had been an "staff emergency" that afternoon... However ...

«On arrival there was no visible reception, which was surprising given how busy the weekend was. It was very confusing to find our accommodation and we had to call multiple times before anyone answered.
The room provided was not the one we booked, and the property looked very run-down. Perhaps new owners but they certainly weren’t very helpful. Rooms were not serviced.For $1,000 for two nights, it was definitely not worth the money and would say, was the worst place we’ve stayed in Pokolbin. Very ...

«What a beautiful, intimate, quaint cottage and only 10 minutes from the vineyards. Helen was the most lovely host, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. It was so peaceful and it felt like we were stepping into a cottage in the rolling hills of England. We loved our stay, the lovely breakfast each morning and definitely will be returning in the cooler months to sit around the beautiful log fire with a bottle of the Hunter’s finest.»

«The room was clean and tidy. However the TV did not work but a staff member brought in another TV that worked fine. The entry path to the front door was undulating and dangerous for my wife to negotiate. The room was old and needed a refresh and painting. Bed cormfortable and linen fresh .»
