«The hotel serves its purpose very well. Clean, spacious rooms with all the items you need for a comfortable stay. Staff are not always on site as they share service with the pub/restaurant, but when they are, they are friendly and helpful. Overall very good experience. »

«We loved this traditional old style hotel and the staff.
However dinner was a little bit of a let down I had scallops which were cooked well a served beautifully my wife had a seafood cocktail straight out of the 70,s unfortunately! Followed by a line caught tuna salad , line caught in a tin ! I had venison steak which was cooked very well but served with shop bought skin on fries .
The price we paid I would have expected better very disappointed
Breakfast was lovely»

«This place is a gem. The owners are warm, welcoming and very helpful, and so are the rest of the staff. The place is reminiscent of the best of a traditional guest house, but with a modern clean feel. The amenities in the room were plentiful, and with the guests’ comfort in mind. The extra touches were much appreciated, as was the cleanliness and cotton sheets. The breakfast room is bright and airy, with white linen table cloths and pretty china. The breakfast is generous and good. The hotel is ...
