«We had such a wonderful stay at the Retreat. It is a beautiful cottage with everything you need. Cosy and well appointed with gorgeous bedding and a kitchenette. The garden is full with f quaint touches and plenty of birdlife. Close to Bundanoon Pub where we met friends for lunch. Lovely hosts. Perfect weekend.»

«We had a disappointing stay at this property. The house itself is ok, but the stay was let down by a lack of any attention to any detail. On arrival we found the garden was severely overgrown, with weeds well over our knee height, the kitchen cupboards and pots and pans were sticky and dirty, the glasses had lipstick stains on them and had to be washed before using, one room was empty of any furniture or furnishings apart from a built in cabinet and a tv...? The long life milk left in the fridge ...

«We had a very late check in time, supposedly for cleaning, of which there was very little. Tried to contact caretaker for a vacuum cleaner but had no response. Cleaned as best we could to make it liveable. Drains were all blocked. Contacted Holiday Travel (managers) who were helpful and organised a plumber very quickly. They were also apologetic for state of the place and offered some remuneration. Our experience was further disappointed by nearby patrons on the same property fighting, ...
