The property, is within a short walk from the centre of the village boasting two local pubs and a local post office/stores, Seashells is spacious and contemporary inside, the open-plan living area is fresh and bright thanks to neutral décor, tasteful spotlighting and carefully-selected artwork on the walls. Evening meals can be prepared in the kitchen area with the spacious dining table before retiring to the sumptuous sofas where you can sink in for the evening and watch Netflix on the TV. If you’d prefer a digital detox, browse through the selection of books and games that the owners have provided. Each bedroom has a peaceful feel; drift off to sleep among pretty coastal touches and wake up ready for the day ahead. There is a family bathroom as well as a shower room and utility to place those sandy shoes.


Head off to Putsborough Beach which is only a mile away one of our finest sandy beaches with three miles expanse of golden sands to explore the dunes and make sandcastles all day; you could even try your hand at surfing. If the rain catches you out, see what’s on at Croyde Deckchair Cinema (1.5 miles) and bring the beach indoors. Saunton Sands (4 miles) and Tunnels Beaches (8 miles) are also worth checking out. Take a boat trip to Lundy Island from Ilfracombe Harbour (8.5 miles) to catch glimpses of wildlife above and under the waves, or visit Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park (13.5 miles) for a fun, family-friendly day out.
