A redwood fairy ring. The younger redwoods that had been offshoots of the adult redwood survived, while the adult redwood has been long gone. This creates a ring of redwoods that you can stand in and look up at.

The park is wonderful, peaceful, and with nice hiking trails. But beware, tech-savvy people, we had no cell reception until we were well off the mountain!

«We had a great time at this house. It was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. I was impressed by how well-equipped the kitchen was. We did a lot of cooking, and it had everything we needed. Even tupperware for leftovers, which I almost never see at rental houses. The location was very quiet and peaceful, and the views from the deck and the glass sliding door surrounding the livingroom on three sides were gorgeous. «Wonderful renovation job, very sleek, modern, and comfortable. Plenty of room for the whole family. VERY clean and a well stocked kitchen for anyone who likes to cook family meals. «Great home away from home. Spacious, clean and filled with amenities. Large kitchen has brand new appliances and is stocked with good pans and a great coffeemaker and also very good coffee and complimentary snacks. Very well designed with practicality in mind: every room has a side table with a lamp that has USB and USB-C plugs for your phone, so you do not need to look for a wall outlet. «It’s close to the convention center making it easy to come and go. It was easy to find with the clear directions. The gate to enter does get stuck a bit. The porch light wasn’t on but our cell phone flashlight worked just fine accessing the key. It was a tad stuffy when we walked in but there there was a box fan and ceiling fan accessible making it quite nice. The bottom bunk was very comfortable. The top bunk mattress could be better.
