We loved how cozy this room was! And the amenities were very thoughtful. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. There was general neighborhood noise, but for us it wasn’t bothersome at all. The home was quiet and the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating.

Great stay. The host is very responsive and accommodating. Free parking and the proximity to downtown for the price is amazing. It is noisy but that is disclosed in the description and wasn’t bad for our stay.

Our stay here was great! It was close to all the attractions we wanted to visit, had on-site parking, was clean and comfortable and even had some free water and a coffee/tea station for us to use. The host was very responsive to my messages as well. This was a great place to stay while visiting downtown Salem.

I loved staying on the property, and so did my son. The apartment was situated between a park, with splash pads, and grills on each side. It was close to the ocean. We went to Winter Park, on Waikiki Beach. Being so close to the beach was a nice surprise. We travel to Salem 1-2 times per year, but this was the first time that we found a nice beach, for swimming. We had groceries, and food delivered. We grilled out, at the park, and then we also visited all of the witchy shops, in Salem. Salem is within walking distance, of the apartment, and on the days that we were tired, Uber was there, in minutes. Salem is the spot that my 12 year old, and I do our Mom and Son bonding trips. The apartment was quaint, and met all of our needs. The bed was amazing. I have a chronic pain condition, so a comfortable bed is a huge thing, for me. The apartment was stocked with towels, washcloths, and toiletries, in case of any forgotten items. I did forget my toothbrush. But, they had some stocked in the bathroom. Yay! I couldn’t tell you much about the host. I got all of the information I needed, in advance. Any time I messaged with a question, I got a response immediately. The host let me have my privacy, and didn’t bother me, and I love my privacy. The complimentary tea and coffee bar was so nice. I’d definitely stay at the property again. This trip, and this apartment stay was amazing!

It's only a ten minute walk to downtown Salem. Parking spot at the property was a huge plus. Was located in an older community but felt safe. Host was always available and great source for recommendations. Would definitely stay here again.

I have never left a bad review before! If I could give zero stars I would! My husband and I went to Salem for our anniversary and when pulling up to the place we were shocked and disappointed with what we saw. The surrounding area did not appear safe. The parking lot had piles of random trash. The building itself is run down. There’s a reason why there’s no photos of the outside of the place!! We were so upset with the area and quality of the place that we took the loss of over $300 and booked somewhere else. That should tell you how bad the surrounding area was!!! I cannot say how the inside of the place was as we did not stay there. When reaching out to the host, I kindly asked what our options were. He said he had to follow his cancelation policy and no refund which is fine as we canceled a few hours before our stay. When asking for a refund of the cleaning fee as we were not staying so there was nothing to clean, he agreed. HOWEVER he never refunded me the cleaning fee. I asked him several times to keep his word and he would dodge the question and complained that we didn’t cancel through vrbo (which we couldn’t because it was under 24hrs) and he couldn’t then rebook. He got easily paid over $300 for no one staying there but made it seem like he experienced a loss. He would then keep asking me to leave a positive review on the stay even though he knew we did not stay there. We are frequent travelers and never experienced something like this before. Do not recommend.

The place was an easy walk to town, clean, stocked with complimentary water, coffee and tea. Communication with the host was quick and easy. The room had great AC and a huge TV.

This room was a hidden gem. It had one of the comfiest beds with some of the softest linens I’ve ever slept in and I slept very well. The host was friendly, always easy to contact and promptly responded — even when I checked in close to midnight. The free coffee, water, tea, and wifi, as well as provided mini fridge, umbrellas, iron, shampoo and conditioner was a nice touch and what was to be expected, if not even more so, from one of the name brand or bigger hotels in the area, which were all much more expensive. As a result, I was able to spend the money I saved on shopping, dining, and enjoying the local attractions, rather than my accommodations. Also, as I informed the host, the room had a sweet full length mirror for outfit pics. I would 10/10 stay here again.

Great Location

The building is on the edge of downtown so it was very easy to walk to everything we wanted to visit during our trip. We could tell the host put a lot of effort into the studio. The host was also readily available to help us out when needed which was invaluable as we had never visited the area. We would definitely stay here again with this host.
