I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel.
From the moment I arrived, the experience fell far below acceptable hospitality standards. The room carpet had a strong, unpleasant odor, which made the room uncomfortable to occupy. Additionally, the coffee machine provided in the room was not working.
More concerning was the overall cleanliness and enforcement of hotel policies in common areas. While I understand that your hotel is pet-friendly, pets were allowed throughout the hotel without restriction — including on breakfast tables, couches, and other shared furniture. This was extremely unsanitary and uncomfortable to witness. Pet-friendly should not mean pets occupying dining surfaces or furniture meant for all guests.
I also observed guests sitting barefoot on couches in common areas, and at no point did staff intervene or attempt to maintain hygiene standards.
Unfortunately, the front desk staff were also unhelpful and dismissive when concerns were raised, which added to the frustration of an already unpleasant experience.
This stay did not meet basic expectations of cleanliness, professionalism, or guest care. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues promptly, as they significantly impact guest comfort and safety.
I would appreciate a response regarding how this situation will be handled.
