Cottage Suite "B" - Walk to Shops, Train, History

Summary:

Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. The bedroom is a converted musician and sound studio. It is also very quiet and excellent for writing or playing your guitar. There is a kitchenette/dining/living room area next to the bedroom, including table, chairs, tv, couch, coffee/microwave/kettle/sink/ refrigerator. There is a full bathroom with washer/dryer.

The Space:

In this space you have parking at your own private entrance. There is an outdoor patio with table and chairs. The bedroom holds one queen bed and one twin bed. There is a living room with couch, tv, kitchenette, table and chairs. The large music room bedroom, living room and kitchenette are on the same level as the entrance, and the bathroom is one step up. The shower is on the smaller size, 30” x30”. The suite contains full-sized refrigerator, microwave, keurig coffee setup, and a table and chairs. There is a kitchen sink and prep counter, dishwasher, and multi-oven on counter. There are some high windows in the entryway. There is a large window and french door in the oversized bedroom. Note: the glass has a blur coating for privacy.



The whole bedroom is a “room in a room” acoustic space. Curved panels on ceiling, sound absorbing panels, no parallel walls. Electric guitar and amp are here. Bring your own instrument. Just no drums or bass please. Stunning professional sound quality.



The space is close to everything (Starbucks, train, historic sites). Easy parking, and very quiet and private inside.

There is also a queen airbed in the closet if needed.



VRBO WARNING: If you are booking through VRBO, please be warned that you will not be able to change your reservation. VRBO does not support changes with integrated property management software, which many hosts use (Guesty). I recommend that guests book through AIRBNB instead since it supports changes and cancellations without any problems.



Guest Access:

This is a private suite with no shared areas.



Park in the driveway and walk right into your room.



Other Things to Note:

Heat and AC:

Using the white remote, choose mode of SUN icon for HEAT then set temp to your heat setting, or choose the SNOWFLAKE and set the ac to your COOL setting. Choose fan AUTO to let the machine attain this temp, otherwise fan just stays on permanently. to start the system, click ON while pointing the remote at the wall unit.



TV: streaming services only (you can log into your streaming services) no cable.



Please do not go into the back yard through gate or glass doors as that is owner’s private space.



Interaction with Guests:

We give you as much privacy as possible and we will be going about our own days as well. If you need us we will do my best to be helpful but we may be at work or busy. Please call my cell if there is an emergency, but otherwise please communicate through this app for messaging.
