«Staying at Madison’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect getaway and experience for my family. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds. Anne’s warm welcome and knowledge about the animals was excellent and we all enjoyed feeding the Alpacas, Llamas & Goats. The indoor pool was great for a quick swim & we felt nice and cosy in the rustic cabin accommodation which had a lovely view of the alpacas and farm. We will definitely be back. »

«This cottage is the perfect weekend getaway to stay at in the season of autumn. We had everything we needed and more, Olwen and her family were lovely and responded quickly to communication. We even had left behind items arranged to be picked up in Sydney thanks to her kindness. A must stay cottage if you are travelling to the mountains this year!»

«I rate this property highly but it’s in no way luxurious so don’t be fooled by the rating. The property was very clean inside and well equipped. Two bedrooms weren’t huge with no wardrobes. The a/c fan is extremely noisy. Sounds like a bike idling. Furnishings are quite sparse but adequate. Entry was quite dirty with bags of linen left all weekend for pickup. The garden needs a really good trim as it’s quite dark in the house. Lawn needed a mow. In saying all that, I would still stay again. ...

«Blackheath is one of our favourite parts of the Mountains and we enjoyed our few days in the cottage. It is close to great walks and shops. We loved the leafy secure front and back yards for our dog and kids to enjoy. Hosts easy to communicate with and we appreciated the later check-out. Wifi worked well too! Sweeping views of the hills, cosy fireplace with plenty of fire wood, plenty of space, lovely cottage garden and lawn, great location, friendly and kind hosts who were very responsive, and a very friendly sheep called Flossy! You can tell that a lot of effort has gone into creating a perfect stay and it has paid off. We’ll be back.»

«I can’t be more impressed and satisfied with Josephine’s Cottage! The host is so friendly, helpful and informative. The interior is so clean and comfy, exactly like what you see in the photos. The location is perfect with a lake and bushwalk nearby. It’s also within close driving range to Leura, Katoomba and Blue Mountains National Park. «Beautiful location, so close to the falls. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. Arrived later than expected and lights and heating we on for us. Keys were ready in the lockbox for us on arrival. Would recommend. Love a balcony and this places had two!!»

«Hotel location is excellent, receptionist was very friendly, apartment was spacious and very very clean. Looks like it has just been renovated. I would have given it a 5 stars if the shower screen over the bath tubs is a bit wider so that the water not splash out to the floor. Anyway I would stay again next time.»
