«Great place to stay to visit Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The house was clean and cozy with comfortable beds. Highly recommend if you don't want to stay in the high priced, crazy busy area but still be close to all the sights!!»

«Our Host was very responsive and accommodating to our communication with him. The house was comfortable and clean and Ellsworth has just what we needed to facilitate our visits to Acadia Park. Only thing that could have improved it at all would be a fully functioning coffee maker, since I can't start the day with out my java. We did figure out the single cup function eventually and all was well.We would return if our travels took us back to the Acadia Area.»

«It was a great location for our multi-generational family vacation-- a short car ride to the Hull Cove Visitor Center in Acadia National Park. The street was a quiet private road. Our granddaughters and grand-dog had room to romp and play. Well stocked, well maintained and tastefully appointed.Everything about the home was perfect for us!»

«The home was very nice and well maintained. We enjoyed the extra and thoughtful amenities like snacks, selection of coffee and teas, women toiletries. The location is central to a lot of places. Parking is ample. I was kinda nervous about non central AC, but the window ac felt similar to central AC. There was a window ax in every unit and my allergies were ok.We enjoyed our stay.»

«Everything was great but at this price the expectation is better and clearer coffee pot and softer toilet tissue. Three large king beds were excellent, better than expected. Bath towels also were excellent size and quality. We knew and we're able to manage with only one and half bath but if you have more people staying at the property, then only one shower may delay in every body getting ready.»

«The property was beautiful and clean. There was a fire pit and wood and we sat out enjoying evenings looking over the ocean. We had 2 more people than they had kayaks and we asked the host where we could rent some nearby. He told us he would supply them and he went out and bought them the night before we arrived! Check in was easy - nothing! Check out was the least requirements we have ever had. The proximity to Bar Harbor and Acadia were a breeze. Hands down the best host I have ever ...

«Our extended family of 11 stayed here for a week. We had plenty of room for Grandma and Grandpa, four adults, and the five grandchildren (ages 14-20). The open floor plan on the main floor had plenty of room for us to hang out together in the kitchen, eating area and living room. There is a large game room upstairs that we didn’t take advantage of because we were busy doing other things. But we enjoyed a couple of dinners outside on the patio and a fire around the fire pit. «The Spofford Inn (Inkwell Room) was beautiful and meticulously decorated with beautiful pieces to not only make the space modern and clean but keep the charm of the original building. The hosts were excellent at communicating and accommodating all our needs. It was is walking distance of a few restaurants and yummy ice cream shop. We were not in Bucksport very long but definitely enjoyed our stay.»
