«Attractively restored pub with very comfortable rooms and good food. The staff couldn't be more helpful - we particularly appreciated the fan left on to cool the room ready for our arrival. Lovely walk from the front door to the old docks on the bay a short distance away.»

«We had a great two night stay at the Preston South Holiday Inn. Upon arrival in the vast reception area, we were quickly checked in by the pleasant male receptionist. We had a very large room with a comfy bed, and a great bathroom with a big walk-in shower and Dove toiletries. Breakfast was buffet service, with a chance to make your own bap. We had two evening meals there, which couldn't be faulted. We also sat out in the garden area with drinks on a lovely day. Highly recommended.»

When we checked in, the smell of dampness when opening the bedroom door was so strong, it was like a slap in the face. I then walked into the bathroom and the floor was so slippy and greasy that I went flying. Luckily I managed to grab on the sink, so as not to fall.
