«House was very clean and enjoyable to stay in. I’ve stayed here twice and definitely prefer this over any hotel around. House has good WiFi and at one point there was a power outage but the home is equipped with an automatic generator that kicked on immediately so i didn’t have to suffer. John is an awesome host and responds quickly if there are any issues. I definitely look forward to booking again. I definitely recommend this stay for family and friends!»

«Our family had a wonderful time staying here. The kayaks were a big hit and the family gathering down by the lake was so much fun. Steep getting there for this old great-grandma but plenty of family members willing to help. So - two ends of a family - one from Washington State and one from Texas - got to know each other better. Fantastic time had by all 28 of us. (Just for the record not all of them stayed at this house . We rented 3 houses and some of us live here at beautiful Holly Lake ...

«This beautiful historical house is located so close to downtown Gladewater we walked to shop and even walked to Skippers pier which was amazing. The attention to all the thoughtful details that made us feel like we were truly staying in an old historical home, made it such an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is a must see and you must cook at least meal. Coffee on the porch made it extra special. We felt safe and I can’t say enough about how wonderful this home is.
