Veldig bra hotell. God frokost, fint rom. Men det var litt for varmt på rommet, og vi klarte ikke å redusere temperaturen.

Greit hotel nær Hauptbahnhof.
Dette er et greit hotell beliggende nær Hauptbahnhof. Frokosten kunne vært bedre i forhold til prisen. Når man kommer litt tidlig og det finnes ledige rom, bør det være gratis å få det. Jeg kom 1330 og måtte betale 10 Euro ekstra.

Vertskap uten smil ba meg bestille per nett og vente 20 minutter før jeg fikk rommet. Synes det var forholdsvis dyrt for en sånn løsning.

Veldig sentralt plassert like ved Berlin Hauftbahnhof. Store moderne rom, god frokost og trivelig betjening. Ett pluss at det i romprisen inngår et reisekort som gjelder for all offentlig kommunikasjon i Berlin. Sightseeingbussene står også like ved hotellet (her får du også rabatt om du har reisekortet)

Sentralt for kommunikasjon
Hotellet ligger meget sentralt til for offentlig kommunikasjon mellom Berlin øst og vest, rett ved Berlins hovedjernbanestasjon og startholdeplass for 3 trikkelinjer. Ved innsjekking får man også en billett til alle offentlige kommunikasjonsmidler som dekker alle Berlins 3 soner. Hotellrommene er relativt store med safe kjøleskap og bad med dusj. Det serveres en variert frokost og på kvelden åpnes en bar. Det er et stort hotell så men kan være litt avstand mellom heisen og hotellrommet.

Berlin was our first stop on a tour of Germany and Austria with family from Australia. We chose this hotel as it was recommended and close to the Hauptbahnhof and within walking distance of the touristy bits. We partied early morning and we were pretty tired but check in was simple and efficient and the lovely lady on duty was so helpful. Our room was a good size, with a decent bathroom and comfortable bed. The pillows were a bit soft but we got more from reception without any drama. We took the eco option as we don’t need our towels changing everyday and that got us €15 credit at the bar. We also got a free travel card for joining the rewards scheme which was great as we plan on staying again. Despite being close to the station and the hotel being busy for events that weekend it was not noisy at night. The breakfast room was large and we had no problems getting a table or gluten free bed for one of our group. There was a good selection for breakfast to cater for palate even my vegan one. Good was replenished regularly. Checkout was done online and for the most part drama free, as the only complaint was checkout. One of our party was in reception first and handed in the key, and was mistakenly charged €25 for an early check in. As the lead booker I knew this was not right, the girl on reception had typed in the wrong room number, rather than admitting her mistake she was really rather rude to my guest which is what they will remember of that stay. Shame really.

Obwohl der Sommer und damit extrem hohe Temperaturen noch gar nicht eingetreten waren, war es im Zimmer schon sehr sehr warm. Die Klimaanlage konnte diesen Umstand leider nicht kompensieren. Für mich Lebensälteren hätten die Betten durchaus etwas höher (!) und etwas härter sein dürfen. Lage und Personal waren optimal.

Good location. Room size decent. House keeping work - not replacing the used glasses. A bit disappointing. Long queue for check in and check out. Not really amazing. Staff not particularly helpful in accommodating request. No water kettle in room. No coffee / tea / water (except first night).
