"Breakfast:
Far too much hype and praise for the breakfast everywhere – completely misleading. No smoked salmon, the potato cakes barely contained any potato, not enough variety of fruit, and overall a very boring hot food selection. Extremely overrated, and I was very disappointed. I will not pay ca 150 nok daily for the hotel breakfast in the future as I can eat outside for far less.
Room facilities:
There is a big difference in facilities between the 2nd and 7th floors. I had to change rooms due to excessive noise from seagulls on the 2nd floor. The 7th floor had better facilities, including a refrigerator and kettle – it’s disappointing that this is not standard across all floors. Why is there only one roll of toilet paper on the 2nd floor, while the 7th floor gets two..
They replaced towels, toilet paper, and made the bed, but I stayed for 6 nights and the floor, toilet, sink, and surrounding areas were not cleaned even once. Very poor.
Swimming pool facilities:
Shockingly poor. The shower head was loose and wouldn’t stay in place, and there were very limited options for hanging or placing belongings.
Air conditioning: No air conditioning. Just a weak cool breeze from under the window, but does not help. "
