Belval Plaza Shopping Center

I booked a stay at Hôtel Kazakiwi for 2 days. Shortly after arrival, the toilet backed up and raw sewage flooded the bathroom floor. When I immediately reported this to the front desk, the staff refused to relocate me to a clean, safe room, claiming the hotel was fully booked. Instead of properly addressing the emergency, the receptionist wiped down the bathroom, insisted the room was clean to stay in, and expected me to sleep there in unsanitary conditions with questionable plumbing. In addition, management later attempted to shift responsibility onto me, claiming the sewage flood was caused by "usage of toilet paper"—that’s how the bathroom is supposed to work. The overall cleanliness of the room was also quite concerning (spiders, insects, and heavy dust from the ceiling and in the corners). Because the hotel failed to provide basic habitability standards or an alternative room, I was forced to cancel my trip, check out early, and rebook my flight home. The staff treated a serious health hazard with complete indifference and disrespect, charging me for both nights even though I checked out. It resulted in a sleepless night and anxiety that the toilet could back up again.
