Oppholdet og hotellet var flott. Litt mye små trapper osv med tanke på bagasje. Vi sto 15 min i baren uten at noen ansatte dukket opp. Da vi ettelyste hjelp i resepsjon skulle de finne noen. Vi ventet 5 min til før vi bare gikk

Perfect location!
Enjoyed our stay at Abbey, good breakfast and a really fresh bathroom. The only negative thing was that the windows couldn’t be open more than a few cm, and there wasn’t any AC in our room. Got a fan, but didn’t helped much as it was 30 degrees outside... But overall the hotel was great, good value for the price, friendly bar staff and perfect location for anyone wanting to explore Bath by foot.

Perfekt beliggenhet med fine rom uten aircondition
Veldig fint hotell med super sentralt lokasjon til alle attraksjoner. Du finner også en parkeringsplass i nærheten til hotellet hvis du kjører bil slik vi gjorde. Det som trekker ned ved dette hotellet er at den ikke har aircondition på rommet. Det ble veldig varmt og nattesøvnen ble ikke noe bra for oss i sommervarmen. Det var en bordvifte men den bråkte mye selv på laveste innstilling. Hotellet hadde lagt frem ørepropper på rommet for oss men det hjalp ikke meg som sover lett. Anbefaler å spise på restauranten ved hotellet, kjempe god mat.

Flott hotell med sentral beliggenhet
Vennlig og hjelpsomt personale. Flott bar. Kan anbefales. Eneste som trekker noe ned var støy fra gaten utenfor. Dette kostet oss nattesøvn om natten i form av festglade mennesker, og om morgenen i form av byggestøy. Be om rom som ikke vender mot gaten.

VAKRE GAMLE, PRAKTFULLE BATH ER ULTIMAT VELVÆRE
Et fantastisk sted, bra shopping, nydelige historiske omgivelser i Bath fra Jane Austen filmer og serier og fra Midsomer Murders(utflukt) En busstur anbefalers, og gjerne to hvis man har tid. Thermae Bath spa var enestående! En opplevelse som alle voksne bør få med seg. :) Roman Baths var også et utrolig flott ssted med spennende utstillinger og historisk ekte sus. Katedralen Bath Abbey er stedet der Englands første konge ble kronet!

We stayed for three nights. The main asset was convenience, the train station, town centre and main tourist sites were easily walkable. The room was clean, modern, good bathroom, nice in every way. Staff were pleasant and helpful, though sometimes inexperienced and lackadaisical in the bar/tea bar. It's in a converted row of Georgian houses, so getting to bedrooms was awkward, but there were a few accessible rooms at the lower levels. Astonishingly, for a 4 star hotel, it doesn't have a full service restaurant, but a tea bar which has a nice bit of cordoned off pavement at the front that is often sunny, but there are many restaurants/bars nearby. Very limited menu basically of snacks and sandwuches, and astonishingly again on a non-holiday weekend they ran out of several of what are probably the most popular wines - ordering a drink on Sunday evening, I was on to my fourth choice before they could provide. They could not offer standard things like port, and many of the younger (student?) servers had no idea what they were doing.

Excellent location, almost next to the Abbey and Roman Baths. Close to supermarkets, pick up point for day tours and a short walk to the railway station.

The Abbey is in the perfect location. It's minutes from the beautiful church and roman baths. Within easy walking distance to stores and restaurants. No onsite parking, but a pay car park was within minutes.

This was a nice, historic hotel in a central location. It was an easy walk from the train station and very close to the Roman Baths. The area right outside the hotel is bustling with activity day and night, but it was fun for people watching. The sound-proof windows help to block out the noise, so just close them all the way.

Wonderful, cozy hotel. Has a modern yet quaint vintage vibe. The amenities are kept up to date. They also use LED lighting, I noticed, so props to eco-friendliness. Accommodating, courteous staff, and the pricing (especially for a day-of reservation) was more than agreeable. I'd definitely stay here again if I travel to Bath, England another time.

Great hotel and property. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. Couldn’t fault the room with a massive bathroom. Only fault we could find was the noise outside the hotel after midnight, we think it was coming from the nightclub over the road and people congregate by the pubic phone boxes which are outside the 500s rooms

Gallery room was cold. Two plug in heaters in the room. Other than that good hotel, friendly staff & great location. Parking nearby at Southgate is short walk away from hotel.

We paid for a Gallary Room with a sofa bed and were put in a double bed and they refused to move us so to the correct room, we paid more for a room we werent given to stay in.

The area was perfect for walking around Bath. The staff was great and helpful. The hotel was a bit worn out but a good price. The room wasn’t very clean and was not ready at check in time.

Very disappointed with our stay. On arrival at our room we discovered that the bed linen was frayed and torn on the fitted sheet, duvet cover was far to big for the duvet supplied. The carpet had not been hoovered or the units wiped down. Bathroom had mould above the shower and shower tray was dirty. The room was certainly not worth the price we paid on comparison to other hotels in the area. Staff were unhelpful and just shrugged when approached about the subject and still awaiting a responce from the manager.

Nice 2-night family stay at Abbey Hotel in Bath
Starting with the positive: the location of the hotel is very convenient and the service was friendly and nice. The breakfast was also lovely with nice a-la-carte options alongside a simple but has-everything-you-need buffet. We had the family room which was spacious enough and with a lovely design/decor. On the things to improve: the room wasn't very clean when we checked-in and the sofa-bed (for the kids) was not very comfortable.
